About

Lora Lee

I was born and raised in Plano, TX and later moved to Austin, TX for college. I majored in creative advertising at the University of Texas at Austin with a focus on art direction and copywriting. During my college years I interned for startup Austin Music Video Festival where I got the opportunity to wear many hats. I learned social media management across multiple channels, designing content for socials, and event management. After graduation I moved to Los Angeles to seek more opportunities in the entertainment industry to combine my passions of design, film, and music.

Since I’ve been in LA, I’ve had the opportunity to freelance for a wide range of clients. From makeup brands to candle companies to musicians. I’ve enjoyed having that mix of creative freedom while also adhering to the brand identity of my client.

I like to stay up to date with the latest trends and technology so I can evolve my skills and taste with the times. I believe art with a message is so important. I’m always striving to reflect the times with my visuals because art has the power to do so much to a viewer. I’m not afraid to explore. To explore those topics that are often deemed controversial. To explore the unsaid and the over-talked about. To have power without saying a word.

Over the years I’ve found my creative approach to favor juxtaposition. What interests me most is combining unlike objects to create something that feels refreshing and new. If the resulting composition ends with a feeling of beautiful oddity, then I feel I have done my job.
